18 years have passed since Le Mâle’s debut and to my surprise it’s still a Bestseller – with a capital B! Almost overnight it became a massive hit and could be smelled everywhere, in bars, offices, airplanes, cinemas, operas, you name it. Sensible but intensive, modern but with a hint of classic barbershop scent Le Male is an absolute lady magnet (but can be easily worn by both men and women).
Less is more with Le Male: It is one of the most powerful scents I’ve ever tried and projection is over the top so caution is needed when it is applied: go easy on the trigger, too many sprays and from a magnet you will simply become a sticky women repellent.
You can wear it at any age and for any occasion but try to avoid it during summer months. This is a really great cologne for winter so make sure this sweet vanilla and sandalwood base warms you during colder days but for the summer try something fresh or juicy
(from my TOP10 colognes try Cool Water).
I’m not a huge fan of Le Male, for me it’s way too overpowering no matter how little I use. For that reason I don’t wear it too often but still enjoy this one when sprayed very lightly. 3.5/5 from me.
And last thing about Le Male, the ladies love this stuff, not all of them but trust me, even after all those years it can still put you in the middle of some very interesting and intriguing action :)
The job was twofold: to interpret the idea of cleanliness, a man that smelled of clean and at the same time a feeling of extreme sensuality, and extreme sexuality. I was asked to create a combination of the two.
